Bye Bye Blueberries

I guess that's it for the blueberries this year. There are still some on the bushes, but they are scarce and take a lot of effort to find. It looks like every year will be different. Last summer we had blueberries for at least the first full week of August. It was a much shorter season this year. Thanks to all who came to pick, it was fun seeing familiar faces as well as some new ones!

 

Picking Times

I wanted to let everyone know that we do not have set hours. You can come whenever it is convenient. Since the parking and payment is set up by the fruit trees, it is not intrusive on our family at all to have pickers out early in the morning or a little later in the evening to avoid the heat. There is no need to call ahead or check in when you get here. If you ever need to leave a note, you can put it in the payment box if we are not home.

The Blueberries

Welcome to our first blog post!

The blueberries are on and ready to be picked. We still have a fair amount of green berries that should be ripe within the next couple weeks. You can come pick whenever you would like.
